Hot dipped galvanized and stainless steel carriage bolts provide a finished look to any timber structure. The round head pulls into the wood to countersink itself as the hex nut is tightened leaving a clean, smooth finished look. Hot dipped galvanized carriage bolts meet ASTM A-307 and ASTM A-153 for the galvanized finished. Stainless steel carriage bolts are available in type 316 stainless steel.
